Join us for an exciting day of creativity at our Mini Makers: Clay Earring Workshop. Ideal for young artists and jewelry lovers, this fun-filled workshop will guide kids through creating their clay earrings (3).

We are thrilled to partner with Black Stone Designs to bring this fun workshop to life. "I'm Anhilu, the creative mind behind Black Stone Designs, and I'm excited to share my passion for jewelry making with your children". 

This event is proudly hosted by Trading Spaces HTX, a boutique event space dedicated to creating unique and memorable experiences. Known for their innovative events and exceptional service, Trading Spaces HTX ensures every event is a unique experience in a safe and clean environment.

What’s Included:

• Craft Three Custom Earrings: Kids will design and make three unique pairs of clay earrings, showcasing their creativity.
• Take-Home Bag: Each participant will receive a special take-home bag filled with their creations and extra goodies.
• Learn a New Skill: Our expert instructors will teach essential clay crafting techniques, perfect for budding jewelry makers.
• Engage with Other Creatives: Fun meet-and-greet sessions and interactive activities to connect with fellow young artists.

11:00 AM - 11:15 AM: Welcome and Meet & Greet 

• Greet participants and introduce the instructor.
• Brief icebreaker activity to help campers get acquainted.
• Overview of the day’s activities and expectations.

11:15 AM - 11:30 AM: Introduction to Clay Making

• Introduction to the materials and tools.
• Basic techniques for working with polymer clay.
• Safety instructions and tips for handling the clay.

11:30 AM - 12:15 PM: 3-Tier Gradient Flower Dangle 

• Demonstration of the gradient flower dangle design.
• Step-by-step guidance on creating the flower shapes.
• Campers create their first set of earrings with assistance.

12:15 PM - 12:30 PM: Snack Time 

• Break for light snacks and refreshments. (provided by students)
• Opportunity for informal chatting and bonding.

12:30 PM - 12:45 PM: Stretch 

• Short stretching exercises to refresh and energize.
• Fun, simple movements to keep everyone active.

12:45 PM - 1:30 PM: Shell Dangle Earring 

• Introduction to the shell dangle design.
• Campers work on creating their second set of earrings.
• Focus on shaping and detailing the shell designs.

1:30 PM - 2:15 PM: Assemble 1st Dangle 

• Assemble the components of the flower dangle earrings.
• Instruction on attaching hooks and findings.
• Time to perfect the assembled earrings.

2:15 PM - 2:30 PM: Q&A 

• Open session for questions about techniques and designs.
• Discussion of challenges and solutions in earring making.
• Tips for creativity and improving skills.

2:30 PM - 2:45 PM: Stretch 

• Another quick stretching session to keep everyone limber.
• Engaging in activities or games to maintain energy levels.

2:45 PM - 3:15 PM: Custom Stud

• Campers design and create custom stud earrings.
• Emphasis on personal creativity and unique designs.
• Assistance with crafting and detailing the studs.

3:15 PM - 3:30 PM: Assemble 2nd Dangle 

• Assemble the components of the shell dangle earrings.
• Guidance on attaching the pieces and completing the set.
• Final adjustments to ensure quality.

3:30 PM - 3:45 PM: Clean Up 

• Time to tidy up the workspace and put away materials.
• Ensure all tools are cleaned and properly stored.
• Encourage campers to help and take responsibility.

3:45 PM - 4:00 PM: Showcase 

• Campers present their completed earrings.
• Group photo and celebration of their achievements.
• Closing remarks and distribution of take-home materials.

• Event Space Environment: Please be aware that our event space involves working with clay and other materials that can get messy. Kids might get a little messy while creating their masterpieces, so please dress them accordingly.
• Snack Reminder: Please pack a nut-free snack and a drink for your child.
